Soho House membership cost: what the houses publish, and what they don't
Soho House membership cost, from the house pages: New York is $950 a quarter, Ludlow $800. What Every House, the fee and the commitment add.

Soho House does publish its prices, just not where most people look. The Soho House membership cost can be found, but you have to know where to search. The prices are listed on each house's Important Information page, not in the ranking articles that often repeat third-party estimates. This piece uses the house's own sentences and the House Rules, and says plainly what is not published.
What Soho House membership costs, by house
Local House prices are published per house, per quarter. The Every House price and the introduction fee are not printed on any house page. We read the pages on October 14, 2026; prices change, so re-check the house page before applying. The pages show a dollar sign without naming a currency; these are the US house pages, so read the figures as US dollars, as listed.
New York houses
The Soho House New York page is straightforward: "Soho House New York membership (Local House) costs $950 quarterly." For members under the age of 27, the cost is a special rate of $475 quarterly. The Ludlow House page states, "Ludlow House membership (Local House) costs $800 quarterly." However, Ludlow's under-27 line mentions "$400 quarterly for Every House membership," which appears to be a page error, as the New York page uses the matching line for Local House. Ask the house directly before relying on it. So, two New York houses, two different Local House prices.
| House | Membership | Price, as listed on the house page |
|---|---|---|
| Soho House New York | Local House | $950 quarterly |
| Soho House New York | Local House, under 27 | $475 quarterly |
| Ludlow House | Local House | $800 quarterly |
| Every House | 48 Houses in 19 countries | Not printed on a house page |

London, in one line
UK houses list their own prices in pounds, and this piece focuses on the US houses.
Local House, Every House and Under 27
The membership page sentences clarify the options: "Local House membership gives you access to the House that's closest to your home"; "Every House members have access to 48 Houses in 19 countries"; "Under 27 memberships offer special pricing until your 30th birthday." The Every House price for US members is not printed on any house page; the pricing page is an interactive calculator, and third-party figures are estimates. For a founder who travels often, Every House may be the practical choice. For one who stays in one city, Local House is the narrower and simpler option.
The introduction fee and its credits
The House Rules state, "Soho House reserves the right to charge members a House introduction fee upon joining," and members "shall receive House introduction credits totaling an equivalent amount to the House introduction fee." The amount is not published. This means the money comes back as credit to spend inside the houses, not as cash. It is a prepayment for spending you may or may not have planned. Before applying, ask for the introduction fee amount in writing to understand the financial commitment.
How you apply and who decides
The application process is relatively straightforward: according to the membership page, the application "will take around 15 minutes to complete." The House Rules add, "The Membership Committee meets quarterly and makes the final decision on who shall become a member of Soho House." This implies a quick form, followed by a wait that depends on the committee's calendar. The decision ultimately belongs to the committee. Waitlist sizes and acceptance rates are not published, so it's best to ignore any numbers from news articles.
What the published price does not include
The published price for Soho House membership does not include three key items: the introduction fee, any spending inside the house, and the commitment. On leaving early, the House Rules say "you will still need to pay your full membership fee for the remainder of the year." The FAQ also mentions, "Your membership renews automatically on an annual rolling basis." So, while the price is quoted quarterly, it is paid four times a year, and the real decision is a 12-month commitment. Budget for the full year and consider the implications of leaving early.
Soho House next to working communities
A social house sells access to rooms, while a working community sells a set of peers and a structured environment for work. Many founders price both options in the same week, but they answer different questions. For example, The Longevity Social Club, a working community for women building companies, offers rooms in Miami, Austin, New York, and Los Angeles, as well as an online club. The Community is free, The Club is $97 a month or $970 a year, and the Inner LNGVTY Program is on application; the membership tiers are set out in full. The useful question is which room the next year of your business needs. They are different products, so the comparison is about fit, not price.

Questions to ask before you apply
Before you apply, consider these questions:
- What is the introduction fee amount, in writing?
- Should I choose Local House or Every House, and what is the current Every House figure from the calculator?
- When does the committee next meet?
- What happens if I move or leave mid-year?
- How many times a month will I actually go, given a founder's calendar?
- Do I need a social room or a working room?

The short version
The Soho House membership cost is a significant financial commitment, so price it as a 12-month commitment, not a quarterly one, and ask for the introduction fee before you apply.
If the room you need is one built around the work, apply to The Longevity Social Club.
Common questions
- How much does Soho House membership cost?
- It depends on the house. Soho House New York lists Local House membership at $950 quarterly, and Ludlow House lists $800 quarterly. Every House, which covers 48 Houses in 19 countries, has no price printed on a house page; the pricing page is an interactive calculator. - What does a Soho House membership cost beyond the quarterly fee?
- Three things sit outside the quarterly price. Soho House may charge an introduction fee on joining, returned as House introduction credits of an equivalent amount rather than cash.
