The short version
We collect the information you give us when you apply, join, buy a ticket, or come to an event. We use it to run the club and to stay in touch with you. We do not sell it. You can ask us for a copy of it or ask us to delete it at any time by emailing accounts@thelongevitysocialclub.com.
The rest of this page is the detail.
Who we are
Longevity Social Club LLC is a Florida limited liability company. Our mailing address is [BUSINESS ADDRESS] and you can reach us at accounts@thelongevitysocialclub.com.
When this policy says "we" or "the club," it means Longevity Social Club LLC. When it says "you," it means anyone who visits our website, applies for membership, becomes a member, or attends one of our events.
What we collect
When you apply for membership, we collect your name, email address, your Instagram or LinkedIn, where you are based, information about what you are building including its stage and category, your written answers to our application questions, which membership you are applying for, and how you heard about us.
When you become a paying member or buy a ticket, our payment processor collects your payment details. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded, along with the last four digits of your card and its expiry date. We never see or store your full card number.
When you register for an event, we collect your name, email address, and anything else the registration form asks for.
When you join our WhatsApp community, we collect your phone number and whatever name and profile photo you have set on WhatsApp. Everything you post there is visible to every other member of that group.
When you attend a virtual session, we collect your display name and, where a session is recorded, your image, voice, and anything you type in the chat.
When you visit our website, we collect standard technical information including your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit, and how you arrived. This happens through cookies and similar technologies.
When you email us or send us a message, we keep the message and your contact details so we can reply and follow up.
How we use it
We use your information to review your application and let you know the outcome, to run your membership and process payments, to organise events and tell you what you need to know before you arrive, to send you our newsletter and updates about the club, to seat dinners and pair people well, to understand who is in the room so we can build programming that fits, to answer your questions, and to keep our records accurate.
We also use aggregated, anonymous information about our membership when we talk to potential sponsors and partners. This describes the membership as a whole, for example how many members work in wellness or what proportion are based in Miami. It never identifies you individually.
Photography and video at our events
Please read this part carefully. We photograph and film at most of our events, including our workshops, dinners, content shoots and retreats. We use that material on our website, on social media, in our newsletter, in sponsorship materials, and in advertising.
By attending an event, you agree that we may record you and use that material for those purposes, without payment to you and without further approval.
If you would rather not be photographed or filmed, tell us when you register or find a member of our team at the event, and we will make sure you are not included. You can also ask us at any time to stop using an image of you, and we will remove it from anything we control. Email accounts@thelongevitysocialclub.com and describe the image.
Recordings of our virtual sessions
We record some of our online sessions, including the Wednesday call, and make those recordings available to members.
We will always tell you at the start of a session if it is being recorded. If you do not want to appear in a recording, you can turn off your camera, stay off the microphone, and use the chat instead. You can also leave and catch the recording afterwards.
We do not record our cowork sessions.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
We do share it with the companies that help us run the club:
| What they do | What they receive |
|---|---|
| Stripe — payments | Your name, email, and payment details |
| Luma — event registration and ticketing | Your name, email, and registration answers |
| Zoom — virtual sessions | Your display name, and your image and voice if recorded |
| WhatsApp / Meta — the community group | Your phone number and profile |
| Substack — our newsletter | Your name and email |
| Google — our email, documents and calendar | Anything you send us or that we record about you |
| [ANALYTICS TOOL] — website analytics | Technical and usage information, not your name |
Each of these companies has its own privacy policy governing what they do with your information, and we would encourage you to read them.
We will also share information where the law requires it, where we need to protect someone's safety, or if the club is ever sold or merged, in which case your information would transfer to the new owner.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies to keep it working properly, to remember your preferences, and to understand how people use it. You can turn cookies off in your browser settings, though parts of the site may stop working correctly if you do.
How long we keep it
We keep your membership information for as long as you are a member and for three years after you leave, so that we can answer questions about your membership and meet our tax and accounting obligations.
We keep application information from people who did not join for two years, in case you apply again.
We keep financial records for seven years, because tax law requires it.
Photographs and video may be kept indefinitely as part of our archive.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you what information we hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, delete your information, stop sending you marketing, or send your information to you in a portable format.
Email accounts@thelongevitysocialclub.com and we will respond within thirty days.
Every marketing email we send has an unsubscribe link, and using it stops marketing immediately. We will still send you essential messages about your membership and any event you have booked.
If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have additional rights under GDPR, including the right to complain to your local data protection authority. If you are in California, you have rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what we collect and to ask us to delete it. We do not sell personal information as that term is defined under the CCPA.
Young people
Our club is for adults, and you must be eighteen or older to become a member or buy a ticket.
Our mentorship events are different. They are run in partnership with youth organisations and involve people under eighteen. At those events, the partner organisation is responsible for participant information and for obtaining consent from parents and guardians, including consent to be photographed. We do not collect personal information directly from anyone under eighteen.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information, including limiting who on our team can see it and relying on established providers who maintain their own security standards. No system is completely secure, so we cannot promise your information will never be accessed by someone who should not have it.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change, and we will change the date at the top when we do. If a change is significant, we will tell members by email.
